Define build and runtime behavior before hosting an app. An HTTP app and a background process have different needs for staying active and restarting.
Runtime requirements
Record the startup command, required configuration and data location. Keep secrets out of public files and browser code. Test how the app behaves after a restart.
Virtual machines or app hosting
A virtual machine also needs operating system maintenance. For app hosting, check build compatibility and runtime limits. Availability differs between these workflows; Lunax’s virtual-machine cloud currently has no active region.
Review cost and publication
Review database and persistent-file costs separately from compute. A working preview does not establish publication readiness or hosting capacity. Check service status and test results before approving publication.
